We had a fantastic Christmas stay in a lovely Dutch village. the location was just perfect- right beside a beautiful canal and easy to explore the area by bike. the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even better, and the evening meals were absolutely delicious. We appreciated that despite being close to a road, there was very little traffic noise at night. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, and we loved the local atmosphere of this quaint village.
Although we had an overall great experience, we did have a few minor issues with our room.

The hotel's location close to the gracht was amazing and made for a picturesque view from my room. Additionally, the staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my entire stay. The cleanliness of the room was also great, and the hotel's facilities were well-equipped.
For us it was ideal.

Spent Xmas with my family at a charming hotel in a picturesque Dutch town. Our cozy room overlooked a canal that added to the peaceful atmosphere. The delicious local cuisine was a highlight, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. A perfect location for exploring the town by foot, and the nearby quaint villages were easily accessible by bike.
Although the hotel was comfortable, there were some maintenance issues with the shower walls. The slightly narrow alley leading to the hotel was fun for the kids, but not ideal for those who had to carry heavy luggage.

Nestled in a picturesque Dutch village, this small family-run hotel is an exceptional base to explore the region by bike. the comfortable and roomy apartments offer a local atmosphere, overlooking the gracht which is close to a lifting bridge that stops operating after 8 PM. Enjoy a delicious meal in the evening or rest comfortably as the beds are comfortable. the friendly staff is always ready to help and ensure a pleasant stay.
The hotel lacks an elevator, which could be inconveniencing with mobility issues.
